INTERMEDIATE JEWELLERY MAKING

This course is aimed at an intermediate level so some experience is required.
The Intermediate Jewellery Making course is a workshop practical-based class allowing you to gain hands-on experience building on your existing knowledge of the traditional techniques required in jewellery manufacture.
You will have your own bench and access to all the tools and equipment in our professional jewellery studio to create an exciting jewellery experience.
We provide all the materials you require for the duration of the course.
Classes are very small and are limited to a maximum of eight places to ensure close attention from the tutor, however this does mean that places are limited and as such students are advised to book early to ensure a place on the course.
You will make a stone set ring, which you will take home, and by the end of this course you will have acquired jewellery skills and knowledge in manufacture, stone setting and finishing. You will learn skills and techniques whilst working on this project which include:
Filing, Sawing, Soldering, Sanding and Polishing, Annealing, Stone Setting and the use of various tools and machines
The course runs for six evenings (6.30pm – 9pm)
This price is all-inclusive of materials, use of tools and tuition
After completing this evening course you can continue your training on our Level 2 Beginners Silver Jewellery Diploma course. We also have short courses available including a piercing (sawing) course and gem setting course.
